Dhanush, the acclaimed actor and filmmaker, recently announced a change in the release date for his upcoming film, "Raayan." Initially slated to hit theaters on June 13, the film will now be released worldwide on July 26. Coincidentally, this new release date falls just two days ahead of Dhanush's 41st birthday.

The actor shared fresh posters of "Raayan" on social media platforms, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and English versions.
In these posters, Dhanush is seen sporting a moustache and beard, with a powerful image of Goddess Kali engulfed in flames in the background.

Apart from directing the film, Dhanush also stars in the leading role. Originally titled "D50," "Raayan" features an ensemble cast, including Nithya Menen, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, and Kalidas Jayaram.
This project marks Dhanush's second directorial venture after the successful 2017 film "Pa Paandi."

Earlier, the makers had released a captivating first-look poster. In this poster, Dhanush appears intense and determined, clad in a blood-soaked apron, bald, and with a moustache.
He wields a steel weapon and stands in front of a food truck, flanked by two other characters. His clenched fists convey the film's gritty tone.

"Raayan" is produced under the banner of Sun Pictures, and the film's soundtrack is composed by the legendary A.R.
Rahman. Om Prakash handles the cinematography.
