Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh Team Up for YRF Spy Universe's First Female-Led Film 'Alpha'
Action-Packed Teaser Unveils Motto: Fastest, Sharpest, Bravest
The first female-led picture in the YRF Spy Universe, Alpha, is starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh. Production banner Yash Raj Films announced on Friday that filming has begun.
The creators posted a preview video to Instagram along with the caption, "The #ALPHA girls are here."

"The Greek alphabet's first letter is Alpha, and our program's motto is 'the one who is the fastest, the sharpest, and the bravest.'" This means that while we work toward creating a better world, the Greek alphabet also represents the beginning of the jungle. In the video, Alia's voiceover states, "If we look closely, we would see that every city has a jungle, and every jungle is always ruled by the Alpha."
Shiv Rawail, director of Fan (2016) and Dhoom 3 (2013), is also recognized for his work in Netflix's The Railway Men: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984. Aditya Chopra is the producer of the movie.
Record-breaking hits including Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Hrithik Roshan's War (2019), and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan (2023) may all be found in the YRF Spy Universe.
While Sharvari made headlines recently for her outstanding performance in Aditya Sarpotdar's Munjya and the historical drama Maharaj starring Junaid Khan, Alia wrapped up filming Jigra, the third production under her home company Eternal Sunshine Productions. Jigra, which also stars Vedang Raina, is scheduled to open in theaters on September 27.
