Fans are excited about this mysterious message.

Zack Snyder's Justice League, which debuted exclusively on HBO Max in 2021, offered a far different vision of the superhero team-up than the 2017 theatrical version. A family tragedy forced Snyder, the film's initial director, to resign. To finish the film in his stead, Warner Bros. brought in Joss Whedon, who was most known for directing The Avengers. This led to extensive rewrites and reshoots.

Fans' relentless social media campaign over several years culminated with Zack Snyder's Justice League cut making its HBO Max premiere on March 18, 2021. This version of the movie stands out due to its unusual 4:3 aspect ratio and two extra hours of video.

The Snyder Cut was better welcomed by critics than the theatrical version; it has a 71% Rotten Tomatoes rating as opposed to the theatrical cut's 40%.

Snyder hasn't given any more information, but his hint implies that talks on a theatrical release might be taking place behind the scenes.
