Congress questions Modi's links to foreign powers, claims he met Xi Jinping 20 times and allowed Chinese donations to PM Cares Fund

On Friday, the Congress questioned who is "controlled by foreign powers" and claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited President Xi Jinping 20 times, given the neighbor a pass on infractions over the border, and allowed the PM Cares Fund to accept millions of dollars in donations from Chinese businesses.
Jairam Ramesh, general secretary for communications for the Congress, released a video of the encounters between Modi and Xi as well as the swing by the Sabarmati River.
"Mr. Modi has had 20 encounters with Xi, including sharing a jhoola with him. On June 19, 2020, Mr. Modi publicly exonerated the Chinese of any wrongdoing with border violations. Mr. Modi permitted Chinese businesses to donate millions to the PM Cares Fund, according to what he said on channel X.
