Modi 3.0: A Coalition Cabinet with Fresh and Familiar Faces

A party official has stated that Telugu Desam Party leader Ram Mohan Naidu would take the oath of office as a Cabinet minister and fellow party MP Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani as a minister of state in the Modi 3.0 cabinet.

In the midst of hints that other allies like Jayant Chaudhary of the RLD, Ram Nath Thakur and Lalan Singh of the JD(U), Chirag Paswan of the LJP (R), Jitan Ram Manjhi of the HAM(S), and Jay Nath Thakur of the TDP are being considered as ministers, TDP leader and industrialist Jayadev Galla posted congratulations to the two leaders.

Manjhi's assistant asserted that he has been told he would be admitted into the government.

According to sources, the administration would include partners, and the BJP is anticipated to retain major responsibilities like foreign affairs, defense, home affairs, and finance.

Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and S Jaishankar are among the prominent members of the BJP who are considered as obvious candidates for Cabinet positions.

The BJP hasn't, however, made any formal comments on its selection of ministers.

Other apparent candidates include former chief ministers Sarbananda Sonowal, Basavaraj Bommai, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The BJP will need to account for its shocking defeats in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh in order to regain support.

It is anticipated that Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi would meet with his selected ministers prior to the evening ritual of swearing in.
