On January 19, 20, and 21, respectively, performances will be conducted in Bangalore, Mumbai, and New Delhi.

The Terribly Funny program offers "jokes about all kinds of terrible things that might have affected you or people you know and love," according to Carr's official website. The first stops on Carr's global tour will be the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, and Asia in October.

Carr is the host of comic programs on Channel 4 such 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, and Roast Battle. He is well recognized for his stoic facial expressions while delivering provocative one-liners.

Carr encountered criticism in 2021 for making a joke about the Holocaust in his Netflix show, His Dark Material. Many organizations and groups, including the Auschwitz Memorial, Hope not Hate, and The Traveler Movement, criticized him. Politicians in Britain, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former Secretary of State for Culture Nadine Dorries, have criticized the comedian. Carr, though, did not retract his joke.
