Rahul Gandhi: Adani is Modi's parrot, ED-CBI will get activated the moment you touch Adani
Rahul Gandhi addresses the media in New Delhi on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Rahul Gandhi stated that the fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal to see the nation enslaved by the Adani monopoly was just as important as the freedom movement and that India was currently experiencing a much "deeper fight."

Rahul connected the recent surveillance scare to the threat of "state-sponsored attackers" attacking iPhones that Apple had sent to key opposition figures involved in the Adani campaign. He said: "Adani employs Modi to work for him." This is how the hierarchy looks: First up, Adani. The second is Modi. Three — Amit Shah.

The leader of the Congress argued that Modi's desperation stemmed from growing difficulties for Adani, as evidenced by his purported illegalities such as spying on political rivals. "Idhar tote ki gardan pakdi, udhar krur Raja tadap raha hai," tweeted Rahul. We can only hope for the best. The cruel king squirmed as soon as he got hold of the parrot's neck. Hum darne wale nahin, ladne wale hain. You can snoop on us as much as you like, but we won't be alarmed. We shall engage in combat.

Shortly before, Rahul had told the tale of the king and the parrot at a press conference.

"No matter how intense the people's anger and how fierce the opposition's attacks were, nothing happened to a nasty king," Rahul stated. The king was not harmed by any of the attacks. The king's soul, a sage later revealed, is in a parrot that is concealed in a cage somewhere else. Adani is the parrot of Modi. The moment you come into contact with Adani, ED-CBI activates. The purpose of all the diversions is to prevent Adani from coming under scrutiny.

Even though accusations of a corporate-ruler connection are not new in politics, no prime minister has been charged with working for a tycoon who wants to "enslave" India in the previous seven decades. Rahul declared: "The British East India Company enslaved India." Now, the Adani monopoly has us in its thrall. Adani is in charge of all infrastructure, railways, ports, airports, food storage, data, cement, and electricity.

"Even the ED and the CBI are controlled by Adani," the Congress leader continued. The Mumbai airport is evidence. Adani used ED-CBI to seize control of Mumbai Airport. Everyone is impacted by Adani's monopoly. This monopoly undermines institutions and damages democracy. It is this monopoly that prevents the media from raising questions. Adani tax is applicable everywhere, including on trains, gas, and electricity. Additionally, Adani and the BJP's financial system are connected.

Adani's business interests are being used as a prism through which to view Modi's politics, as evidenced by the coordinated attack on the company. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge posted the following message on X: "Modi Government's sole mantra is Adani bachao, Loktantra mitao (Save Adani, erase democracy)," while Rahul claimed that despite overwhelming evidence, Adani was not being investigated. Pegasus was initially used by the B Jasoos Party (BJP) to spy on important institutions and opposition leaders. The spying is still going on, but with different tools. Such intimidation tactics will not frighten INDIA, also known as Bharat.

The Congress has been charging Modi with supporting Adani in the ongoing state elections as well. Rahul named opposition figures, including his close associates, personal staff, and Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal, who had received messages from Apple about state-sponsored attackers. "The inquiry on Pegasus disappeared and that tells you (about) the situation in the country," he said, making reference to the Pegasus spyware as well. However, a growing number of citizens are aware of what is going on in the nation.

Rahul claimed that "thieves and criminals" were responsible for the spying, arguing that the evidence from the Pegasus and Rafale scandals would have brought down any other government, but that politics had advanced to a new level that hinted at a contempt for the truth and responsibility. He asserted that the Bharat Jodo Yatra had demonstrated that Modi was mistaken to believe he could use technology to control politics.

When asked how he would handle "Adani Sarkar" even in the event that Modi lost the election in 2024, Rahul responded, "Don't think Adani will disappear after the change of government." It will be necessary to treat this. I have some thoughts, but I can't discuss them during a press conference. When the time comes, we'll demonstrate how to handle Adani.

The Congressman made it clear that he didn't personally dislike Adani. That strikes me as a structure. I would have combated it under a different name. He claimed that monopolies were the issue and that many Indian businesspeople were against this.
