In a promotional video for Star Sports Tamil, former Australian cricketer Shane Watson shocked viewers by playing the classic Ilaiyaraaja song En Iniya Pon Nilave on his guitar.
The video starts off serious when someone tells YouTuber Madan Gowri that he needs to conduct an interview right now during his routine of watching matches. Watson then walks into the room wearing a dapper blue suit and a pair of slacks.
Gowri starts the fictitious interview by inquiring about the cricketer's career. He appears displeased to have missed the action on TV. He even inquires about Watson's familiarity with the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is met with universal laughter given that the former Australian cricketer has played for three IPL teams since the league's inception in 2008: Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Chennai Super Kings.

Watson is questioned about his unusual talents by Gowri, who by this point appears to be completely bored. While remaining silent, the Australian player pulls up his guitar and begins to play En Iniya Pon Nilave by Ilaiyaraaja, creating a memorable moment for both cricket and music enthusiasts.
