A still from the teaser

The newest trailer for Disney and Pixar's animated feature Inside Out 2 features 11-year-old Riley's voices in disarray after their unexpected meeting with a new emotion: anxiety. The film is anticipated to shed light on the mental health struggles faced by pre-adolescent children.

The one-minute, thirty-second teaser, released by Pixar on Thursday, opens with a view of Riley experiencing her emotions in harmony. Her emotions are represented as Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger. She still believes that the voices in her brain are familiar with every aspect of her life. However, the girl is severely affected by the arrival of anxiety, which presents her with fresh obstacles and creates a rollercoaster atmosphere.

Maya Hawke's portrayal of anxiety brings a novel and captivating aspect to the emotional group. As terrifying as it may be, anxiety doesn't go away; in this follow-up to Pete Docter's 2015 animated feature Inside Out, it foreshadows the disruptive role it will play in Riley's complex mental processes.

The film also emphasizes the intricacy of preteen emotions as Rylie's motley band of well-known emotions strives to overcome the novel and unanticipated mental obstacle.

Tony Hale as Fear, Liza Lapira as Disgust, Lewis Black as Anger, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Amy Poehler as Joy all have vocal roles in the movie. The group guarantees a performance that will appeal to viewers of all ages.

Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2, which is slated to open in theaters in June of next year and is helmed by Kelsey Mann and produced by Mark Nielsen, is sure to make you laugh, cry, and maybe even feel a little anxious.
