PM Modi Attacks Congress for Failing to Stop Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, Says Terrorists and Naxalites Gain Strength When Congress Wins National Election

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congress for failing to stop naxalism in Chhattisgarh and said that terrorists and naxalites gain strength everytime the Congress wins the national election.

Using the phrase "30 take kakka, khule aam satta"—30% commission government, openly running betting—Modi attacked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at a rally in the Surajpur area of Chhattisgarh about the suspected Mahadev betting app scandal.

In the state, Baghel is often referred to as "Kaka," or uncle.

In 20 of the state's 90 assembly seats, the first round of voting was taking place on Tuesday.

According to Modi, the Congress has abandoned the adivasis, or tribes, and has left them to fend for themselves.

The empowerment of terrorists and Naxalites occurs whenever the Congress party gains power in the nation. Reports of killings and bomb explosions appear from time to time. "Crime and looting rule wherever the Congress is in power," he said.

The Prime Minister said that the Congress administration had failed to stop Naxal violence in Chhattisgarh.

"Our (BJP) party workers were kidnapped from us recently. Do you want to live in a world where weapons and explosives are always present? Our colleague, the party head, was shot and killed a few days ago. "It doesn't matter how much money you have if your son doesn't come home in the evening and his body reaches," he said.

As a result, he added, everyone needs to be safe, and the Congress has to be taken out of every area and voting booth.

Attacking Chief Minister Baghel over the Mahadev betting app scandal, Modi said that they had conducted a fraud under the alias "Mahadev," which is now being discussed both domestically and internationally.

He went on, "There's no need for evidence when the biggest accused of the scam has admitted on TV that he paid the CM a bribe of Rs 500 crore."
