PM Modi Encourages Voters in Chhattisgarh and Mizoram to Use Their Right to Vote

As voters in Chhattisgarh and Mizoram go to the elections to choose representatives to their respective assemblies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged them to use their right to vote on Tuesday.

In his speech to voters in Chhattisgarh, Modi invited people to participate in the first round of polling and celebrate the festival of democracy. He gave the new voters his congratulations.

Additionally, he urged a record number of Mizoram voters to cast ballots.

"I urge Mizoram residents to cast a record number of ballots. I especially encourage young people and those who are voting for the first time to use their right to vote and support the celebration of democracy."

On Tuesday, votes will be cast for all 40 seats in the Mizoram parliament as well as 20 seats in the 90-member Chhattisgarh assembly.
