PM Modi to Inaugurate 511 Rural Skill Development Centers in Maharashtra on Thursday

Using a video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open 511 rural skill development centers in Maharashtra on Thursday in honor of the late Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan.

According to an official release, these centers are being set up in 34 rural districts of Maharashtra.

According to the statement, they would run skill development training programs in a variety of industries to give young people from rural areas job prospects.

About 100 youth will receive training in at least two vocational courses at each center. The National Skill Development Council's affiliated industrial partners and agencies are delivering the training, according to the announcement.

It further stated that the creation of these centers will assist the area in making noteworthy progress toward producing a workforce that is more knowledgeable and talented.

Mahajan was a prominent BJP national leader. At the age of 56, he passed away in 2006.
