Kalki 2898 AD Rules Box Office, Surpasses ₹700 Crore Worldwide in First Week
Prabhas Starrer Becomes Highest Grossing Film of 2024, Hindi Version Second Highest This Year
The creators of Kalki 2898 AD revealed on Wednesday that the movie has already made over Rs 700 crore at the global box office in its first week of release.
The most financially successful movie of 2024 to date is Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in the film directed by Nag Ashin. Moreover, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, S.S. Rajamouli, and Ram Gopal Varma make unexpected cameo appearances in the movie.

In India, Kalki 2898 AD had a great start, earning an incredible Rs 95.3 crore nett on its first day of business. The movie had a tremendous comeback, earning Rs 64.5 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 88.2 crore nett on Sunday, despite a little decline in revenue to Rs 57.6 crore nett on day two.
With a strong showing on Monday, the movie brought in Rs 34.15 crore nett on Day 5. Tuesday's earnings were Rs 27.05 crore nett, and Wednesday's earnings were Rs 23.2 crore nett.
The industry data-tracking website Sacnilk reports that the domestic total of the Prabhas film has risen to an astounding Rs 393.4 crore nett.
While the Hindi version of Kalki 2898 AD is the second-highest grosser of the year in the Hindi market behind Fighter, starring Hritihik Roshan, the Telugu version has been outperforming the other dubbed versions, contributing a commanding Rs 202.8 crore nett.
