On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that his government has granted investigative agencies complete autonomy to combat corruption and does not impede their operations.

During his speech on the motion of appreciation to the President's address in the Rajya Sabha, Modi declared: "I have given agencies full freedom to act against corruption." The government doesn't meddle in agency operations. Nobody who is corrupt will get away with it. Modi has promised to do this."

In addition, Modi stated that the administration was attempting to bring peace to Manipur, which has been the scene of bloodshed over the past 12 months. In protest, the opposition parties organized a walkout.

More than 500 persons have been arrested in relation to the violence in Manipur, and almost 11,000 FIRs have been lodged. Violence cases are progressively decreasing. Offices, institutions, and schools are operating as usual. He stated that all attempts are being made to find a solution.

"People who are attempting to fan the flames ought to desist from doing such things. Manipur's history reveals a protracted social strife. As a result, the President's rule was enforced ten times. Similar acts of violence persisted for five years in 1993. We are striving for normalcy and have understood," he stated.

The opposition parties have accused its leaders of abusing the ED, income tax, and CBI. Modi attempted to defend the investigating agencies' activities by pointing to the Congress and AAP's requests for a CBI investigation into one another in cases of alleged corruption.

"At a press conference, the Congress claimed that the AAP was complicit in a booze fraud. When steps are being taken, Modi is being held accountable. Their ruler, speaking of Rahul Gandhi, accuses the chief minister of Kerala and demands that he be imprisoned. When Bhupesh Baghel was the chief minister of Chhattisgarh, the AAP had requested a CBI investigation into him in connection with a corruption issue, Modi stated.

Regarding the accusations made by the Opposition that the government intended to change the Constitution, Modi stated that he did not see it as a simple list of articles. We respect its words and spirit. He remarked, "The Constitution directs us like a lighthouse in our deeds.
