Company controls 70% of four-wheeler EV market in India
The updated Nexon.ev was unveiled on Thursday by the Tata Motors subsidiary Tata Passenger Electric Mobility. The firm has so far sold 1,04,000 electric vehicles, of which the Nexon EV has sold 53,000, the Tiago EV 30,000, the Tigor EV 10,000, and the Express T fleet model 20,000.
According to the corporation, it controls 70% of the four-wheeler EV industry.
According to Vivek Srivats, head of marketing, sales, and service strategy at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd, "Nexon EV is the product that put India on the electrification journey," in a telephone conversation with The Telegraph.
Speaking about the appeal of a more expensive SUV bodystyle in the EV market, Srivats stated: "Indian customers are obviously value searchers today rather than price hunters. Customers consider the value bundle in addition to the price.
The new Nexon EV has a tech-driven driving experience and a fresh design language.
