BTS's RM Drops Powerful New Music Video for "Groin," Achieving Over 1.1 Million Views in 24 Hours

The new music video for BTS member RM's song "Growin" was released on Monday. It received over 1.1 million views in a day and peaked at number 11 on YouTube.

The K-pop rapper's new album, Right Place, Wrong Person, includes the song.

Under Pennacky's direction, RM makes a comeback with Groin, a famous rap song. In the song, the vocalist sings, "Now that life is a little easier, they shove responsibilities onto me. What do I represent? I only represent myself. Before I die of anger, let's say what I have to say."

The film, which lasts three minutes and fourteen seconds, begins with shaky footage of a darkly illuminated section set to melancholic music. Then, the focus of the scene moves to RM, who is casually dressed in a black tracksuit. The song has a catchy and upbeat chorus and is a strong hip-hop track with rock influences.

RM uses honest lyrics and explosive graphics in the music video to authentically express his feelings and point of view. Groin's goal in departing from his perceptive songs about psychology and emotions, such as Come Back To Me and LOST!, is to vividly depict his raw emotions and ideas on society or certain social groupings.

"I will set you free because I see what I see (Me), I am what I am (Me), The lyrics said, "Can't tell me nothing, I'm so far."

Right Place, Wrong Person, RM's album, was released on May 24. Songs like Nuts, Damodachi, Heaven, Come Back To Me, LOST!, and Out of Love are among those on it. Indigo, RM's previous solo endeavor, was made available in 2022.

Except for the headline, this story has not been edited by Press Time staff and has been published from a syndicated feed.

RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are currently all serving in the South Korean military.
