Deepika Padukone Glows in Black Dress at Kalki 2898 AD Pre-Release Event
Actress Flaunts Baby Bump Alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan
Soon-to-be mother At a pre-release ceremony in Mumbai on Wednesday for Nag Ashwin Reddy's impending dystopian sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, Deepika Padukone showed off her growing baby bulge in a black column dress.
Production company Vyjayanthi Movies posted a collection of images to Instagram along with the caption, "Relive the excitement of the #Kalki2898AD pre-release event with these clicks."
Deepika can be seen in a few photos standing on the stage wearing a halter dress with ribbed crosses and high-heeled shoes.
Deepika looked great with dewy makeup and a sloppy ponytail framing her face with loose hair strands. To finish her appearance, the 38-year-old actress went with simple accessories and red manicured nails.
Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan, who costarred with her, also joined her on stage.
They can be seen sitting together in a different photo during a panel discussion.
A candid photo of Deepika, Prabhas, and Amitabh laughing was released by the film's creators.
Director Nag Ashwin also attended the function. The makers have released a set of photos in which Prabhas and Amitabh can be seen assisting Deepika off the stage.
Amitabh and Prabhas were dressed in all black, and Haasan looked sharp in a white suit.
Deepika also posted her black-and-white Instagram stills showing off her growing baby bulge. "All right, enough...She wrote, "I'm hungry right now," next to the pictures.

Prabhas will appear in Kalki 2898 AD as a bounty hunter. In the Mahabharata, Amitabh portrays Ashwatthama, the eternal son of Drona. In the movie, Deepika plays a pregnant lady and Kamal Haasan plays a seer.
Tollywood actor Saswata Chatterjee plays a dictator in the movie, while Disha Patani plays Roxie.
Djordje Stojiljkovic handled the cinematography for Kalki 2898 AD, while Santhosh Narayanan composed the music.
March saw the announcement of Deepika and Ranveer's pregnancy, soon after the Pathan actress made her BAFTA 2024 presentation. The actor couple hinted that they are expecting their first child in September when they posted an image of balloons and baby clothes on Instagram with the words "September 2024" written across it.
On the set of the 2013 movie Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela, Deepika and Ranveer got together. On November 14, 2018, they exchanged vows at Italy's Lake Como.
The last time we saw Deepika, she was opposite Hrithik Roshan in Siddharth Anand's aerial actioner Fighter. Her other upcoming projects include Don 3 (starring Farhan Akhtar) and Singham Again (with Rohit Shetty).
