Rahul Gandhi turned 54 on Wednesday. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge expressed his gratitude for Rahul Gandhi's persistent dedication to the principles outlined in the Constitution and his strong sympathy for the millions of voices that remain unheard.

Gandhi, a Rae Bareli-born MP and former Congress president, has directed all Congress employees to observe this event with acts of kindness and humanitarianism rather than with large-scale festivities.

Kharge wished Gandhi a happy birthday in a post on X.

"Your unwavering commitment to the values espoused in the Constitution of India and your emphatic compassion for the millions of unheard voices, are the qualities which sets you apart," Kharge stated in reference to Gandhi.

"Congress party's ethos of unity in diversity, harmony and compassion, is visible in all your actions, as you continue in your mission to wipe off the tear from the last person standing, by showing the mirror of truth to power," he stated.

Gandhi was wished a long, healthy, and happy life by Kharge.

MK Stalin, the leader of the DMK and chief minister of Tamil Nadu, also praised Gandhi on his birthday.

"Happy birthday, Rahul Gandhi, my darling brother! You will achieve great things because of your commitment to our nation's citizens. On X, Stalin wished you "a year of continuous progress and success."

Gandhi received birthday wishes from Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.

"I join crores of Indians in wishing our beloved leader Sh. Rahul Gandhi ji a very happy birthday!" said K C Venugopal, general secretary of the Congress and in-charge of the organization. The impoverished, disenfranchised, and backward people of India have Rahul Ji as their unchallenged leader. The epitome of a Nyay Yoddha, the protector of our Constitution, the voiceless, the tower of strength for the weak, and India's greatest hope for a magnificent future!" On X, Venugopal stated.

"His selfless, dedicated and passionate commitment to serving the people is an inspiration for us all and his moral compass guides us every step of the way," he stated.

"He (Gandhi) has seen the toughest of times, faced the worst abuses, withstood attacks from all corners, but he has stood tall and never wavered from his principles no matter the ridicule or insult he faces," Venugopal stated.

According to Venugopal, our country has a conscience-keeper and a leader in him who is committed to transforming it into the prosperous, progressive, and inclusive country of our dreams for the rest of our lives.

"I hope he has a lifetime of happiness and the fortitude to put up a good fight! Rahul ji specifically urged all Congress workers to commemorate this event by working for charity, helping others, and being ecologically conscious rather than by throwing large parties," he stated.

Gandhi was also wished on this occasion by Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who noted that Gandhi's persona is one of fighting against all difficulties.

"His perspective is to support the less fortunate. Fighting is his attitude, and sacrifice is his birthright. Reddy declared, "He is the only astute leader who can fulfill India's dreams for the future.

The Congress wished "Happy birthday to a leader who taught us to 'Choose Love'" in a post on X. When hate is directed at you, choose love. When compassion seems impossible, choose love. Choose love when things are difficult.Select love when empathy runs low.

"A leader who refused to give in to rage, hate, or tears. To restore our democracy, there was one leader who took the initiative. One leader who restored hope and brought light into the world. Rahul Gandhi ji, thank you for being who you are," the party declared.
