PM Modi Accuses Congress of Belittling Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar

Dhar, Madhya Pradesh - Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing an election rally in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, accused the Congress of belittling Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and his role in framing the Constitution.

Modi stated that the Congress party has started to claim that Dr Ambedkar had a minimal role in the creation of the Constitution, and that Pandit Nehru made the most significant contribution. “The truth is that the Congress parivar deeply hates Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar,” Modi said.

The Prime Minister further accused the Congress of stabbing Ambedkar and the Constitution in the back. He vowed to foil any attempts to erase India’s identity in the name of pseudo secularism as long as he is alive.

Modi also addressed rumors being spread by the Congress that if he secures 400 Lok Sabha seats, he will change the Constitution. He clarified that his aim for 400 seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha polls is to ensure that the Congress is not able to reinstate Article 370 in Kashmir and to prevent the Congress from misusing the OBC quota for its vote bank.

“In the last five years, we had nearly 400 seats, including NDA, supporting regional parties and Independents. We used this number to scrap Article 370,” Modi said. He added that these 400 plus seats were also used to extend the SC/ST quota for 10 years and to appoint a tribal woman as the country’s President.

The Prime Minister’s remarks have stirred up the political atmosphere, and the nation now awaits the results of the ongoing Lok Sabha polls.
