Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan Lead Cheers for Team India Despite Loss
Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to express their support for the Indian cricket team after their defeat to Australia in the ICC World Cup final.
Actors Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan lead the cheers for Men in Blue after Team India's defeat by Australia in the ICC World Cup final on Sunday at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium.
Shah Rukh said, "The way the Indian team has played this whole tournament is a matter of honour and they showed great spirit and tenacity," on X, the previous Twitter platform, just after the game.
The Jawan actor continued, taking the "unfortunate" defeat in his stride and offering the Indian cricket team his unshakable support, saying the players did them proud during the competition. It's a sport, and there are never too many terrible days. Regretfully, that occurred today.nonetheless, we are grateful to Team India for bringing such pride to our cricketing heritage.You too much brighten up India as a whole. Respect and love. You elevate our nation as a whole.

At the stadium, the 58-year-old actor supported Team India throughout the match with his spouse Gauri Khan and their kids, Aryan and Suhana Khan.
Along with his spouse, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer supported the national team from the stands as well. A few highs and a few lows. Some days are better than others. Some triumphs, some defeats. Sport is that. Following the match, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actor posted on his Instagram Stories, stating that's just life.
The 38-year-old actor went on to write, complimenting the players for their efforts throughout the ICC competition, saying, "We are all gutted, but let's applaud our boys for giving it their all."
