Foreign coaches Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn, and Andrew Puttick have all resigned from their positions with the national team and the Pakistan Cricket Board, the latter having verified this news.

The three were given responsibilities at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore after their portfolios were reorganized after the 50-over World Cup in India.

Up to the World Cup, all three of them served as the primary support staff for the Pakistani squad, along with bowling coach Morne Morkel.

However, Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the PCB management committee, reassigned the three to the NCA after Pakistan failed to make it to the knockout stages. The trio declined this assignment and took holidays to their various homes.

The only one to leave his unfinished contract immediately after the World Cup was Morkel.

According to a trustworthy source on the board, talks were undertaken with the three individuals to allow them to step down, as per their contracts, the PCB would have had to continue paying their wages for the next six months if they had terminated.

The source said that when the talks with Arthur, Bradburn, and Puttick were effectively completed, they notified the board of their plans to step down by the end of January.

The PCB said that all parties involved made the decision in good faith.

Puttick received an offer from Afghanistan to be their batting coach shortly after the World Cup, as it became apparent that the PCB was no longer interested in having these three foreign coaches working with the national team.

Arthur returned to his position as head coach of Derbyshire, while Bradburn received a contract offer from an English county team.
