Following teacher protests, JU resumes PhD admission.
Following an objection from the acting vice-chancellor, Jadavpur University withheld admission to its PhD program in the arts faculty. However, the process has now resumed. Late on Tuesday, Malabika Ray, the dean of the arts faculty, released a statement saying: "This is an additional clarification to the notice issued on 17/11/23." Universities sign a memorandum of understanding
