Third runner-up on "Bigg Boss 17" actor Ankita Lokhande says she has no regrets about being authentic on the well-liked reality program, regardless of whether this is controversial or not.

Colors channel launched the latest season of "Bigg Boss" on October 15, 2023, and it concluded on January 28, 2024, with actor Salman Khan serving as host. Winner of the event was Munawar Faruqui, a stand-up comedian.

Due to their disputes and disagreements, Lokhande, who came on the program with her husband Vicky Jain, made headlines.

"I gave it my all when I was there. I let all of my feelings come out. Frequently, I would assert that I have been authentic on the program and have not concealed anything. I may have attempted to prevent a scandal, but it still occurred. It's alright; I was weary of myself. It is a component of who I am. I was who I was, and I can't help that. In an interview with PTI, the "Pavitra Rishta" actress said, "I have no regrets."

The actor said that when one is locked up in the Bigg Boss house with twenty other candidates, it is challenging to know what is going on outside.

"However, I was OK with my eviction once I found out about it. I was astonished, not angry. I believed I had a fan base that was rooting for me, but I believe there was a gap in it. "I have relished the experience," she said.

Lokhande said that she needs to "recover" from all she went through on the reality TV series now that the program is done.

My mental health has suffered as a result, therefore I think I need to get over that. Although I've never been a profound thinker, I eventually became so because of the circumstances. I'm working on getting well and trying to make sense of some of the things that have occurred to me. I will ultimately get over it, but it will take time.

"Vicky, my mom, my family, and everyone from Vicky's family are there, but in the end, it all comes down to how I handle things and go on. I'm attempting to manage the situation," the 39-year-old said.

Lokhande had made comments on the program about either divorcing or taking a vacation from their marriage. The performer claimed that in retrospect, she ought to have acted more sensibly.

"We were friends for years before we were married. We only made jokes, yet they were taken seriously. I need to learn to be more reasonable and watch what I say while I'm on camera because right now I'm not. I have a lot to learn," she said.

After all they experienced on the program, the actor thinks their connection has been stronger.

"We may not even quarrel if our relationship wasn't so great. The only thing that sets us apart from other regular couples is that our arguments have been publicized on television. But all of this has strengthened our bond with one another. Both he and I were able to see where we were both making mistakes. We have increased in strength." In addition to her roles in the movies "Manikarnika" and "Baaghi 3," Lokhande is excited for the release of her next picture, "Swatantrya Veer Savarkar," which is a biographical picture of Hindutva icon V D Savarkar, starred and directed by Randeep Hooda. On March 22, it will be released on screen.

It's a stunning movie. I was unable to turn down the chance to collaborate with the film's director, Randeep Hooda, when it presented itself. Sandeep, a buddy of mine, was then creating it. "I can't wait to see myself on the big screen," she said.
