Amit Shah Targets Mamata Banerjee and INDIA Bloc in Bengal Rallies
Union home minister Amit Shah waves to the people during a road show in support of BJP's candidate Subhas Sarkar in Bankura on Wednesday.

Amit Shah, the union home minister, spoke at three rallies in Bengal on Wednesday, accusing Mamata Banerjee and other leaders of the INDIA alliance of engaging in dynastic, corruption, and appeasement politics.

Shah participated in a crowd show in Bankura and gave speeches at three rallies in Cotai, Debra, and Purulia.

Shah compared the leaders of the INDIA group to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, arguing that the latter treated the entire nation as his family and actively pursued its development, while also making accusations against them.

Think about the INDI Alliance's leaders. At a public meeting in East Midnapore's Contai, Shah stated, "Uddhav Thackeray wants his son to be the chief; Sharad Pawar wants the same for his daughter; Sonia Gandhi wants her son to be prime minister; and Mamata Banerjee's only goal is to make her nephew, Abhishek Banerjee, the next chief minister of the state."

"Who is going to lead them? Regarding the prime minister, they respond that it will be changed out periodically. Can this style of leadership advance the nation?" Shah enquired.

Shah, denouncing the alleged corruption of Trinamool, said: "Their minister Partha Chattopadhyay has recovered (Rs.) 51 crore, and several TMC ministers are in jail." However, when they invaded Suvendu Adhikari's home, they were unable to find even twenty-five rupees.

Shah was alluding to the late-night police raid on the Kolaghat residence of Nandigram MLA in East Midnapore, which occurred four days prior to the sixth phase of polling on May 25. Adhikari, a BJP MLA who defected from Trinamool to the saffron side months before of the 2021 Assembly elections, has filed a lawsuit in opposition to the raid.

On the other hand, the police claimed to have searched Adhikari's home in search of a neighborhood goon who was escaping a case. The BJP MLA's home was empty of both the person and the money.

Mamata received a warning from the home minister, who brought up the matter at the federal level.

"BJP will make Suvendu Adhikari a more well-known leader the more you (Mamata Banerjee) torment him. Shah stated, "There was a chance that (TMC) would win two or three seats from Bengal, but you won't even get that if the police continue to oppress you."

Shah attacked Trinamool by resorting once more to the communal rhetoric of the saffron movement.

"The Ma-Mati-Manush campaign brought the Trinamool Congress to power, but it has since shifted to the Mullah-Madrasa-Mafia campaign. Infiltrators now have a safe refuge in Bengal. The state's demographics are shifting as a result of infiltration, which affects not only Bengal but the whole nation, Shah said.

"Mamata Banerjee is committing a sin when she permits infiltrators to alter Bengal's demographics. She only opposed the CAA to preserve her support base when the BJP administration enacted it to grant refugees citizenship. For the purpose of vote-bank politics, she is jeopardizing national security," he added.

The entire nation was startled, but Mamata didi was busy shielding the guilty because she thought this may take away her vote bank, Shah added, alluding to the controversy in Sandeshkhali around the suspected torture by local Trinamool politician Sheikh Shahjahan and his assistants. Ultimately, the offender was taken into custody after the court had to step in.

Shah expressed confidence in the BJP's ability to win elections, predicting that the party will take 30 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal and that this would lead to the fall of the Mamata Banerjee-led administration.

"I'm here to reassure BJP supporters that we will imprison all of the TMC's thugs as soon as we secure 30 Lok Sabha seats in Bengal and establish state and federal government." Everyone is going to be imprisoned. Nobody will escape," declared Shah.
