Coalition Members Meet in Ranchi to Plan for Lok Sabha Elections
INDIA bloc leaders gather to discuss strategy and readiness for upcoming rally
On Sunday, members of the governing coalition convened in Ranchi to deliberate on the next Lok Sabha elections.
They also assessed the level of readiness for the April 21 public gathering of INDIA bloc members, known as Ulgunan Nyay Maharally, which is scheduled to take place in Ranchi.
It is anticipated that the leading figures of the INDIA bloc would attend the summit in Ranchi, which will take place in the nearby Prabhat Tara Maidan.
The JMM working president and former chief minister, Hemant Soren, hosted the gathering on Sunday at his home. He is now being remanded in judicial custody after being arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with a money laundering case.
Nonetheless, Hemant's spouse Kalpana Murmu Soren, who is running in the concurrent Lok Sabha and Gandey Assembly by-election next month, was present at the meeting.
