The March 8 debut of "Showtime," starring Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, and Naseeruddin Shah, was revealed by the streaming service Disney+ Hotstar on Friday.

The forthcoming program was developed by showrunner Mihir Desai and creator Sumit Roy under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment. In addition, Desai and Archit Kumar also work as directors.


The announcement of the show's premiere date was announced on Disney+ Hotstar's social media channels.

"Make a roll sound! Ah, the camera. The streamer shared a preview with the caption, "And it's showtime #HotstarSpecials #Showtime streaming March 8th," on Instagram.

The streaming site describes "Showtime" as an epic narrative of legacy and ambition in the film industry.

The show will provide viewers a behind-the-scenes look at nepotism, the power battles at the top, and the multimillion dollar Bollywood business.

Rajeev Khandelwal and Shriya Saran have important parts in "Showtime" as well.
