The topic of conversation back home has been the selection of the new head coach for Team India. It wouldn't be shocking if it also made an appearance in the team's locker room.

But being pros, one can only expect that the Indian team will be concentrating mostly on this Super 8 stage of the upcoming T20 World Cup, where a single misstep may be disastrous for the team.

On Thursday, Captain Rohit Sharma and his side take on Afghanistan in their Super 8 match at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Although Afghanistan's pool isn't the strongest in India, there's no denying that these guys are a dynamic bunch who will be entering the tournament's second stage with a new outlook.

Regarding India's bowling, the only thing to consider is whether, considering the circumstances at Bridgetown, to bring in Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav at the expense of a pacer (likely Mohammed Siraj). "Leaving someone out is difficult," head coach Rahul Dravid stated on Wednesday.

However, things are a little different here. So, it's possible that we need to change this. Kuldeep or Yuzi (Yuzvendra Chahal) might be in.

However, India should be a little worried about their batting, particularly with their opening lineup. And Virat Kohli's current form has everything to do with that.

The batting conditions for Kohli, captain Rohit, and the other prominent players in this Indian lineup will undoubtedly be better than what they experienced in New York. Yet, Kohli, who has only scored five runs in the league so far, has once more been bothered by that outside off-stump line.

It will be a test for Kohli if Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi, a bowler, gets the ball to swing both ways. And for the other batters from India too.
