Since it was released on December 15, Heeriye singer Jasleen Royal's new music video Dastoor, which features Jackie Shroff, Neena Gupta, Babil Khan, and the singer herself, has received over a million views on YouTube in less than a day.

The touching tale of enduring, timeless love is told in the music video, which is directed by Taani Tanvir. Two young lovers are shown in Jasleen and Babil as being split apart by their disparate socioeconomic statuses in society.

However, no obstacle is strong enough to quench their unwavering love for one another, and years later, they tie the knot in front of their loved ones.

The two lovers are portrayed by Neena and Jackie as their older selves. Additionally, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor appears in the video.

Neena Gupta, wearing a mint green suit and accessories to match, softly caresses the presents she once received from her lover in the video's opening scenes. A change in the timeline and the revelation of the backstory come next. The two lovers are shown in the video as they embark on an eternal journey together.

Under the Warner Music India umbrella, Japji Singh and Jasleen produce the music video, which was penned by Aditya Sharma.

Babil, the late Irrfan Khan's son, makes his music video debut with Dastoor. The last time viewers saw Babil was in the Netflix series The Railway Men: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984, which also starred Divyenndu Sharma, R. Madhavan, and Kay Kay Menon.

In just four months, Jasleen's previous music video, Heeriye, which featured Dulquer Salmaan, amassed over 233 million views on YouTube.
