Queen of Karma: Raveena Tandon Returns for Revenge in Disney+ Hotstar's Karmma Calling

Following her OTT debut with the 2021 Netflix thriller Aranyak, actress Raveena Tandon will return to the digital space early in 2019 with the Disney+ Hotstar series Karmma Calling. The producers revealed this information on Friday through a brief teaser.

In the upcoming series, which is scheduled to premiere on January 26, 2024, the Satta actress plays a wealthy and cunning woman named Indrani Kothari from Alibaug society. Her persona flourishes in a mind-boggling world of glitz, glamour, deceit, and treachery.

Raveena's character can be seen holding a glass of wine and donning a flashy outfit in the teaser. “There are no rules for success. There are no good or bad things. Forget about morality and ethics, and forget about your loved ones too. As they say, you get what you give. However, I contend that even Karma cannot defeat you when the entire world is at your feet," she declares.

The teaser image is accompanied by the caption, "What goes around, comes around? Allow Karma to approach you; she'll take care of it."
Karmma Calling is an adaptation of the American television series Revenge, and it is based on Alexandre Dumas's beloved novel The Count of Monte Cristo. Ruchi Narain is the director, and R.A.T. Films is the producer.
