"While I enjoy working with both of them, I find Deepika's dance style to be more novel. She has no problem trying new things and experimenting. Katrina is more circumspect and likes to stay with her comfort zone. But they're both incredibly gifted and diligent," Merchant remarked.

Bollywood's most famous dance sequences, such as "Kajra Re" from Bunty Aur Babli, "Kamli" from Dhoom 3, and "Besharam Rang" from Pathaan, have been choreographed by Merchant. She has collaborated on numerous productions with both Padukone and Kaif, thus she is well-aware of their dancer's advantages and disadvantages.
