Following their election, a meeting with Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi at his house at 11.30 am has been scheduled. These newly elected MPs are expected to be sworn in as Union Ministers in the third NDA administration on Sunday.
According to sources, a senior BJP official invited the BJP MPs to the meeting but did not specify why.
They stated that it is anticipated that they would be named union ministers this evening.
On 'X', TDP MP Jayadev Galla stated that party member Ram Mohan Naidu will become a cabinet minister and that another member, MP Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, will become a minister of state in the next ministry.
After two complete terms during which the BJP held a majority on its own, Modi is scheduled to take the oath of office on Sunday for a third consecutive term as the leader of a coalition government.
By winning the general elections in 1952, 1957, and 1962, the 73-year-old would match the accomplishment of Jawaharlal Nehru, the country's first prime minister.
Dignitaries and special invitees are scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the prime minister and his council of ministers at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7.15 pm, which will include leaders from the Indian Ocean Region and the neighboring countries of India.
