At the Providence Stadium in Georgetown, Afghanistan will be the clear favorite versus Uganda. The African country is participating in the event for the first time.

Afghanistan will undoubtedly be encouraged by their performance from the previous ODI World Cup in India, when they defeated teams like England, South Africa, and Pakistan. They also performed incredibly well in the most recent ICC event.

Uganda, with perhaps the best spin attack in the competition against a rookie in conditions that should be spin-friendly, is probably going to have a difficult day.

Given that Uganda has left-handers with little to no experience turning away from wrist spins at the highest level, Afghanistan may choose to use Noor Ahmad's wrist spin technique.

"At this point, all that matters is concentrating on one game at a time and making sure that we act appropriately and make the right choices when needed. That, in my opinion, will be beneficial to us. Additionally, avoid obsessing on the following round. There is additional strain because of that, said skipper Rashid Khan.

It's more important to concentrate on one game at a time and give it our all. That is what we think. We also make sure that our talents and skills are supported; ultimately, it all comes down to making the right choice when it matters most. That's the point at which it will lead you to victory. Thus, we are all prepared and eager for the tournament.

Ronak Patel has been encouraged to open alongside Simon Ssesazi or Robinson Obuya as Uganda has been experimenting with openers. It seems probable that they will go back to the tried-and-true pairing of Roger Mukasa and Simon Ssesazi. It could very well be unusually spin-heavy.
