Even though he is not with the squad for "personal reasons," Virat Kohli nevertheless made sure to congratulate Rohit Sharma and his team on their "phenomenal" win against India in the Test series.

Michael Vaughan, a former captain of England, stated: "There are five elite players missing. Losing the toss and falling behind in the first inning. Kudos to India for winning the test with such style; many talented young players are joining the team and will be around for a long time.

Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, also praised the squad on their "outstanding" series win. "Team India wins the 4th Test in Ranchi with fantastic victory." Additionally, he lauded Rohit Sharma's leadership.
