On Monday, actor duo Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made their first public appearance alongside their daughter Raha Kapoor, bringing some festive cheer.

When Ranbir, 41, and Alia, 30, arrived for the Kapoor family's Christmas brunch in the afternoon, they posed for pictures with their 13-month-old for the photographers.

Raha, who turned one on November 6, was wearing a pink and white dress with a red pair of shoes and a reindeer on the front. Alia was at Ranbir's side as he held the small one in his arms.

Along with thanking the media for their well wishes, Raha made her "paparazzi debut" with the couple.

Alia had discussed last month how to prevent Raha's face from being overshared on social media.

"I don't want to come across as concealing my daughter. She has my admiration. I would project a huge picture of her onto the screen in the event that the cameras were not currently in use. I cherish her. I'm happy for our child. However, we just became parents. The "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani" star had stated at an event, "We're not sure how we feel about her face being all over the internet; she's barely a year old."

Alia had publicly criticized the press in February for "invading her privacy" by taking pictures of her in her home without permission.

It's common to talk about the privacy of famous children under the spotlight, particularly in the social media age.

While celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been open to their children being photographed in public, Rani Mukerji and Anushka Sharma are two exceptions who ask photographers not to take pictures of their kids.

Ranbir and Alia got married in April of last year. They first became friends while working on the "Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva" set.

Alia took home the National Film Award for her role in "Gangubai Kathiawadi" this year, and Ranbir recently experienced enormous box office success with his latest release, "Animal".
