Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP came under fire on Monday from the family of RJD chief Lalu Prasad for calling the opposition "anti-Sanatan" and using the "400-paar" slogan without taking into account the problems that ordinary people confront.

Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, the youngest son of RJD leader Lalu, stated in Patna that "Prime Minister Narendra Modi talks continuously about '400 paar' (winning more than 400 Lok Sabha seats), but never talks about jobs or employment, students and youths, farmers or labourers, villages or the poor, education or health, schools or hospitals."

What topic, then, will this nation's voters support him on? Modiji will not be able to win even 100 seats if he stays silent on issues. Forget about winning 400 seats. Tejashwi continued, "Therefore, issues should be discussed instead of Modi; Modi nahin mudde ki baat honi chahiye."

He questioned the reasons behind the failure of the "double-engine government" and the BJP's ten years in power at the federal level to establish factories in Bihar, halt population movement, end poverty, or lower inflation.

Misa Bharti, Lalu's eldest daughter and a Rajya Sabha member running for the third time from the Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency, called Modi out for calling the opposition "anti-Sanatan" and against the Ram temple.

The Ram temple that the BJP and Modiji built in Ayodhya is not their creation. We adore God and are also Hindus and Sanatani. Despite our busy schedules, we shall make time to receive Lord Ram's darshan. "Will anyone stop us?" she asked during her campaign.

Misa asserted that the Mahagathbandhan and the RJD had done well in government, brought up problems facing the average person, and been awarded jobs.

The "400-paar" slogan was deemed harmful by Misa. "Their (BJP) ideas are quite damaging. They seek to revoke peoples' rights and undermine this nation's Constitution. She continued, "I'm sure that the people, especially those in Bihar, will remove Narendra Modi from office because they are seeing everything."

She also brought up the gang rape and killing of a young girl in Muzaffarpur district last week, claiming that no representative of the state's ruling party paid the victim's family a visit.

During her campaign trail in the Saran constituency, Rohini Acharya, Lalu's second daughter, denounced the BJP for engaging in pretentious rhetoric. "Nitish Kumar, the chief minister, has sought solace with boasters. For this reason, he made mention of gaining 4,000 Lok Sabha seats as opposed to just 400.
