Man found hanging in government flat allotted to BJP MLA Yogesh Shukla in Lucknow

Yogesh Shukla, a BJP lawmaker from Lucknow, received a government apartment on which a guy was discovered hanging on Monday. Yogesh Shukla told reporters that the man was his employee and was in charge of managing his social media profiles.

Shreshth Tiwari, 24, had lived in the apartment for the previous 18 months, according to the police, who believe he committed suicide for unspecified reasons.

Shreshth believed he was under too much job pressure, according to a source close to him who spoke to reporters under the condition of anonymity.

He had to constantly be on the lookout for tweets endorsing the state government and produce films to boost the BJP and disparage the opposition. However, I have no idea why I did this action," the insider claimed.

"Shreshth worked for the MLA's media cell," Hazratganj police station inspector Pramod Kumar Pandey stated. Shreshth made a video call to a woman he knew and declared his intention to end his life, the woman told the police.

"The woman quickly arrived at the apartment and rapped on the door. She contacted the police after receiving no response, and they smashed down the door and discovered him hanging from the ceiling. There was no note left by suicide. Investigation is ongoing.

Upon his arrival in Lucknow from his ancestral home in Barabanki, Shreshth's younger brother Saurabh said: "I heard the police say he had a love affair, but we don't believe this. He was quite honest with us, yet he never mentioned relationships.

Parth Srivastava, a 28-year-old social media manager for Lucknow's chief minister Yogi Adityanath, was discovered hanging from the ceiling of his own home in May 2021. Police reported that it was a suicide.

A private corporation had engaged Parth for the position. A few minutes before taking his own life, he sent out a tweet in which he accused two senior coworkers of bullying him and included the handles of several politicians and bureaucrats.

Parth had allegedly written in a suicide note he left behind at the scene, "My suicide is a murder."

The two senior coworkers Parth mentioned were booked by the police but not taken into custody.
