After Tiger 3, his most recent film, which debuted in theaters on November 12 of last year and is presently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video, became an overwhelming success, Salman Khan, then 58, expressed his belief that his "biggest and only" responsibility as an actor is to entertain people.

"My primary responsibility as an actor is to captivate audiences, and I'm delighted that Tiger 3 is gaining global acclaim," Salman stated in a statement.

"From its debut in theaters, on satellite, or on streaming services, the Tiger franchise has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. So, it's incredible to witness how Tiger 3's third installment became popular both in theaters and on streaming services," he continued.

Salman stated that he is in "close contact" with his followers on social media and that he is pleased to see that Tiger 3 is getting love from people all around the world. "I can see the outpouring of love now that Tiger 3 has dropped on OTT," Salman remarked.

Salman, who plays R&AW agent Avinash Singh again in Tiger 3, says he is really attached to the movie. "Thus, it felt very personal when it became popular in theaters and even more so now that it's trending on streaming just days after it was released."

Tiger Zinda Hai, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, was released in 2017 and was the follow-up to Kabir Khan's Ek Tha Tiger (2012). The YRF spy world, which Aditya Chopra created, also included Hrithik Roshan's War and Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan.

Tiger 3, which also starred Emraan Hashmi and Katrina Kaif, brought in a total of Rs 472 crore globally.
