Second Day of Search for Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir
Combined Operation Underway to Neutralize Terrorists Responsible for IAF Convoy Attack
On Sunday, the search for the terrorists responsible for the assault on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in the Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir began its second day.
One of the five IAF members who was hurt in the attack on Saturday night in the Surankote region of the district near Shahsitar passed away at a military hospital, according to authorities.
They added that the army and police are conducting a well-coordinated combined operation to neutralize the terrorists in a number of locations, including Shahsitar, Gursai, Sanai, and Sheendara Top.
According to the officials, the terrorists are thought to have escaped into a woodland following the incident.
They stated that there hasn't been any "contact" with the terrorists yet and that security officers are carrying out combing operations.
