"Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya": Exploring Man vs Machine in Indian Cinema

According to co-director Amit Joshi, the goal of "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya" was to create a big-budget movie that explored the issue of man vs machine.

The film, which is now available for viewing on Prime Video, centers on Shahid Kapoor's character, who develops feelings for Kriti Sanon's robot. The romantic drama, which was helmed by Joshi and Aradhana Sah, hit theaters in February.

"I search for original topics that haven't been explored in Indian film previously. I intended to portray a tale about man vs machine with this film. Because we are all surrounded by machines these days, I felt compelled to make a movie on this issue, Joshi said to PTI.

"We thought about making a film which should appeal to mass Indian audience," he said.

According to Joshi, Kapoor and Sanon were once considered to be the movie's stars.

"Shahid has always been a favorite actor of mine. We (Joshi and Sah) believed he would persuade viewers that it is possible to fall in love with a robot. When you compose a tale, you also consider whether or not it will be accepted by readers. Thus, a convincing performer is required." Kapoor recollected that he enjoyed the movie and that Sanon consented to join right away when she was offered a narrative.

"I am really blessed that two talented actors said 'yes' to my film." When asked whether a sequel would be possible, the filmmaker said that he would love to do a second part if given the opportunity.

Joshi claimed to have several screenplays with him, including one for a young adult romantic drama and one for a superhero movie, both of which he wants to have approved soon.
