"The Great Indian Kapil Show" premiered on Netflix on March 30, and it has been generating quite a buzz. Comedian Kapil Sharma, along with his core team of Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur, has returned with a new extravagant set. However, despite the fresh backdrop, the jokes and punches seem to be the same as in his earlier shows.

The show's USP lies in the return of comedian Sunil Grover, who adds his unique touch to the series. Grover's chemistry with Kapil is a highlight, as they take playful digs at each other and even revisit their mid-air fight.
Symbolically, they reconcile on a set designed like an airport.

The first episode featured the Kapoor family: Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahani. While it's always delightful to hear inside stories from Bollywood, the tales shared by the Kapoors are already familiar to fans.
From Ranbir being the "shant bachcha" (innocent child) to revealing his wild side in front of family, we've heard it all before. Even anecdotes about Rishi Kapoor's big heart and short temper have been told repeatedly.

Despite the star-studded cast, the show fails to leave a lasting impression.
The jokes lack the rib-tickling humor expected, and the self-promotion by Netflix becomes a bit repetitive. Nevertheless, Sunil Grover's presence saves the day, making it worth a watch for fans of the genre."
