Vikrant Massey Stars in a Gripping Tale of Justice and Consequence
In the trailer for his next movie The Sabarmati Report, which was released by the producers on Tuesday, Vikrant Massey portrays a journalist who is driven to discover the truth behind the burning of the Sabarmati Express in Godhra, Gujarat.
Shraban Kumar, a journalist for Massey, is seen in the teaser getting ready to break the story of the Godhra fire tragedy on television. He is reading the teleprompter when he first hesitates to refer to it as a "unfortunate accident." Then, he disputes the idea and asserts unequivocally that it was not an accident.
"Today, we pay tribute to the 59 innocent individuals who perished in the Godhra train fire disaster 22 years ago. Introducing "The Sabarmati Report," which opens in theaters on May 3, 2024," Massey captioned the teaser image.

Sabarmati Express passengers returning from Ayodhya were fatally torched on the morning of February 27, 2002, close to the Godhra railway station in Gujarat.
Ridhi Dogra and Raashii Khanna will also be on The Sabarmati Report. The movie, which has a May 3 release date in theaters, was directed by Ranjan Chandel and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan.
