When the accident happened, the train was traveling at 130 kmph.

After being stopped for more than four hours due to an accident in the Koderma-Gomoh section, train activity on the grand chord line under the Dhanbad Railway Division of ECR has resumed, he added.

According to him, an electric engine drove the Purushottam Express to Delhi and a diesel engine transported it to Gomoh from the scene of the disaster.
