On November 3, the first day of nominations, 100 candidates in all submitted their nomination papers for the 2017 Telangana assembly elections.

Among those who submitted nominations on November 3 were Tummala Nageswara Rao (Khammam) and A Revanth Reddy, the head of the Telangana PCC from Kodangal.

The Telangana Gazette released the Election Commission of India's announcement of the Telangana Assembly elections, which are scheduled for November 30.

The notice said that nominations for the poll may be filed starting on November 10 and that they would be accepted on working days from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.

As per the election calendar, nominations will be examined on November 13 and the deadline for withdrawing a candidacy is November 15.

Voter registration will open on November 30 and vote tallying would begin on December 3. Except in some locations where it finishes at 4 pm, polling would start at 5 am and conclude at 5 pm.

When submitting a nomination, a candidate may only have three cars in their convoy within 100 meters of the Returning Officer's office, and only five individuals, including the candidate running for office, may enter the RO's chamber.

The candidate must submit an affidavit in Form-26 with their candidacy, which includes details about their assets, obligations, and educational background as well as criminal history.
