YSRCP Leader Jagan Mohan Reddy Resumes Campaign After Stone Assault

After taking a day off due to a stone assault, YSRCP leader and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy continued his electioneering bus trip from Kesarapalle in the NTR District on Monday.

While the chief minister was canvassing for votes on Saturday night in Singh Nagar, Vijayawada, some unknown miscreants threw a stone at him, injuring his left temple.

Reddy is doing voter outreach in Gannavaram. Today, he will pass via the villages of Hanuman Junction, Veeravalli Cross, and Atkur.

Reddy left Idupulupaya in the Kadapa district and traveled to Icchapuram in the Srikakulam district on a 21-day bus journey to campaign for the election.

On May 13, Andhra Pradesh will hold elections for the 175-member Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats. On June 4, the results will be tallied.
