Title: Disqualified Congress MLAs in Himachal Pradesh to File Defamation Case Against Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu

On Saturday, the six Congress MLAs from Himachal Pradesh who were disqualified announced that they will sue the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for slander and threatened to "expose" him.

The three Independent members and the six disqualified Congress MLAs said together that they would be filing a defamation lawsuit against Sukhu, and that the chief minister will be held accountable for substantiating the accusations he has made against them.

The six Congress MLAs were removed from office for disobeying a party whip in order to vote in favor of the government in the House despite not participating in the vote on a cut motion and finance bill (Budget) in the assembly.

Independent lawmakers KL Thakur, Hoshiyar Singh, and Ashish Sharma, as well as disqualified Congress MLAs Rajendra Rana, Ravi Thakur, Sudhir Sharma, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Chetanya Sharma, and Devinder Kumar Bhutto, said they would tell the public how they were humiliated over the past 14 months and how development work in their constituencies was halted.

They claimed that Sukhu has grown uneasy as control is eroding from him and that he fears his "deeds" will come to light if he does not have control.

They added that even in the midst of a severe financial crisis, "favorites" are still being rewarded, the Congress manifesto was discarded, and the government closed its doors to young people without jobs.
