Aayush Sharma Ventures Beyond Salman Khan Films with Action-packed "Ruslaan"

Actor Aayush Sharma said on Friday that he is entering the world with his new film "Ruslaan" and has the blessings of his celebrity brother-in-law Salman Khan.

Having been supported by Salman Khan Films (SKF), the superstar's production company, Sharma, who is married to Salman's sister Arpita, began his acting career in 2018 with "Loveyatri". Later, he co-starred with Salman in the SKF film "Antim: The Final Truth" (2021).

"I shared the screen with him in my first two movies. He's seen the movie, and I can always count on his blessings. I'm collaborating with new folks and venturing into the real world with this film. "I hope I make him proud," Sharma said during the movie's trailer releasing ceremony.

Sharma, who has worked in the film business for over five years, said that while the process has been excruciatingly slow, he has loved every minute of it.

"I have always felt that my journey has been painfully slow but I also enjoy this journey because I am passionately involved in every film of mine," he said.

"I believe that working with people who are not related to you may help you learn a lot of new things. The outcome of all I've learned is "Ruslaan." He said, "If someone believes that I was spoilt (by SKF), then Karan sir and Radhamohan sir corrected me.

The action movie "Ruslaan" was directed by Karan L. Butani and produced by K. K. Radhamohan.

Actor Sharma said that he is always looking for "good films" and that his choice to leave SKF's shadow was not deliberate.

"It makes no difference who is directing the movie... The 33-year-old actor said, "My adventure has just started, and I don't believe I have the liberty to remain in a comfort zone.

One thing about 'Ruslaan' that I have realized is that there is a lot of danger involved when you go outside of your protective bubble or comfort zone. However, danger also yields a wealth of experience. "I am prepared to venture outside," he said.

Telugu actor Jagapati Babu, who starred with Salman Khan in the 2023 film "Kisi ka Bhai Kisi ki Jaan," is also featured in "Ruslaan."

Salman bhai came across an essay in 2016 when I expressed my desire to work in Bollywood, particularly with Salman Bhai. I approached Salman bhai about this movie when it came out, and he replied, "Yes, do it." It's going to be excellent. And I threw myself into it, which makes me really pleased," Babu said.

Actress Sushrii Mishra expressed her happiness at having a significant part in the film.

For me, it's a dream part. My mother is a DSP and my father is an Army officer, thus I was raised in the Army. Growing up, I heard a lot of different things. Additionally, they have given me a significant responsibility. I felt both anxious and thrilled, said Sharma.

On April 26, Vidya Malavade's film "Ruslaan" will be released in theaters.
