Star-studded Indian Street Premier League Launches with Star Owners and High-Voltage T10 Action
The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) has welcomed actor couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan as team owners. Their team is called Kolkata.
The Indian Super League (ISPL) is the country's first tennis ball T10 cricket competition to be held inside. It is planned to take place here from March 2 to March 9.
Cricket is a family ritual that Kareena, who made the news on Instagram, claimed has a long history. The actor's father-in-law was the renowned cricketer and former captain of India, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.
"After all, cricket is a family sport that we all love and appreciate... We are thrilled to announce that we are the owners of Team Kolkata in the Indian Street Premier League!"We are thrilled to be a part of this event and think it's a great opportunity for young, aspiring cricket players," she tweeted on Wednesday.
There will be nineteen intense matches in the first season of the Indian Super League (IPL), with six clubs participating: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Srinagar.
Amitabh Bachchan owns Team Mumbai, whereas Akshay Kumar owns Team Srinagar, Hrithik Roshan owns Team Bengaluru, Ram Charan owns Team Hyderabad, and Suriya owns Team Chennai.
