At a cost of Rs 118.5 crore, the Center has sanctioned seven bridge projects in Arunachal Pradesh, according to Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.

According to him, the Setu Bandhan Scheme will be used to build the bridges.

"We have approved seven bridge projects under the Setu Bandhan Scheme, totaling Rs 118.50 crore, to be implemented in the state of Arunachal Pradesh during the fiscal year 2023–2024,” Gadkari wrote on X on Wednesday.

He continued, "These projects align with our commitment to improving the overall quality of life and promoting the socio-economic growth of Arunachal Pradesh by fostering economic development and enhancing connectivity across regions."

Two reinforced cement concrete (RCC) bridges will span the Pacha River in the East Kameng district's Lachang and Goang regions. These are among the projects that have been approved.
