Unveiling Ceremony at Indian Navy Headquarters Marks Tribute to 1971 Indo-Pakistan War Strike

Excel Entertainment and Sunshine Digimedia Announce 'Operation Trident' Film

Producing "Operation Trident," a movie based on the Indian Navy's strike during the 1971 India-Pakistan War, Excel Entertainment said on Wednesday that it is collaborating with Sunshine Digimedia.

The movie, supported by Excel Entertainment in association with Sunshine Digimedia, was unveiled in the Indian Navy's brand-new, ultra-modern headquarters, Nausena Bhawan.

The film's creators state that Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar, producer Ritesh Sidhwani, co-producers Vishal Ramchandani and Kassim Jagmagia of Excel Entertainment, and producers Abhinav Shukla and Priyanka Belorkar of Sunshine Digimedia were present at the ceremony.

The update was posted on Excel Entertainment's X page.

Operation Trident is presented by Excel Entertainment in association with Sunshine Digimedia. The movie is inspired by the Indian Navy's valiant assault in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1919–1920. Future generations will be inspired by the tale of the momentous victory, the production banner declared.

The notification of "Operation Trident" was also put on X by an Indian Navy official.

"Paying tribute to the long-lasting legacy of Operation Trident. The movie "Operation Trident" had its title launch at Nausena Bhawan in New Delhi, with Adm R Hari Kumar of the CNS in attendance. "The story of the historic victory will inspire future generations, inspired by the bold attack of the #IndianNavy during the #1971IndoPakWar," the post stated.

Sunshine Digimedia and Excel Entertainment are producing the next film.
