The results of the matches that were set to take place in Lauderhill, Florida, were meant to be determined by the elements until Thursday. However, the chance that the India-Canada game will take place on Saturday has increased due to the clear and bright weather early on Friday.

India won't be impacted by the result because, after three wins in New York, Rohit Sharma's team has already secured a spot in the T20 World Cup Super 8. Canada is already eliminated from the competition, so they don't have anything to lose.

However, the outlook for Saturday is not good. Given the forecast of scattered thunderstorms, there is a chance that the match will be partially or completely interrupted. On Friday, the Indians canceled their planned net session.

Due to airline problems, the broadcasters and commentators' arrival from New York to Miami was delayed, while the players and support staff arrived in Lauderhill on a chartered airplane.

Should the game happen, the Indians will have a chance to refine their tactics and game plan. On an unpredictable and sketchy track in New York, the Indians have done remarkably well, but Virat Kohli's form has been a cause for concern.

The former captain, who also had a "golden duck" against the USA, has five runs at an average of 1.66. Though the team management hasn't mentioned it, there are rumors that Kohli would be permitted to bat at his customary No. 3 spot.

Sunil Gavaskar said that there wasn't much to worry about because Kohli would soon return to the field of runs. With a maximum score of 28, Kohli has, for the record, only scored 63 runs in the three innings at the location.

"Winning games is the primary driving force behind every athlete, particularly while representing their nation. He has won numerous games and performed incredibly well for India throughout the years.

We are just getting started with the competition. Gavaskar stated on Star Sports, "I think he has plenty of patience and faith in himself. All he needs to do is show those qualities."

"Just because you receive three poor scores doesn't indicate that he isn't hitting well. You occasionally receive quality delivery... Thus, there is no need for concern. We must have confidence in him.

His play versus Canada, the tournament debutantes, has created an intriguing undercurrent for the match. The low scorers have put some pressure on the following batters, especially because he is opening with Rohit.

To their credit, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant have more than made up for Kohli. In order to lead India to victory, Pant scored 36 and 42 against Pakistan and Ireland, and Surya also scored an undefeated 50 against the United States.

T. Dilip, the fielding coach for India, stated that the squad never undervalues a rival.

We give equal treatment to all opponents. Canada is also a highly good cricketing nation. Therefore, we are more present to play by our standards. Every game should be used to fine-tune our standards so that we can win and get better, Dilip remarked.

India's record in eight Twenty20 International matches played in Florida is five victories, two losses, and no result. At this venue, Rohit Sharma is their most prolific run scorer with 196 runs at an average of 49 and a strike percentage of 153.12.

The bowlers are having a great time. When the competition advances to the Super 8 level in the West Indies, the debate over whether Kuldeep Yadav should start in place of one of the pacers may become more heated.
